Mitch Myers

Mitch Myers is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist based out of Grand Rapids, MI. He has shared the stage with artists such as Dianne Reeves, Rance Allen, Jessica Reedy, Marvin Sapp, Bunny DeBarge, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Zacardi Cortez, Jessica Price (America’s Got Talent), Tasha Page-Lockhart, Ashford Sanders, Amber Bullock, and many more!

He has been a featured performer with the Grand Rapids Symphony since 2011. In his career that has spanned over 15 years, his playing has been heard on nearly 20 albums. He is currently working on his first full-length solo album. “Pass Me Not,” the first single from his upcoming album, is expected to be released mid-2015.

Mitch performs regularly as the lead guitarist for Debra Perry & Majestic Praise. He also has played guitar, bass, and drums in a number of musicals including “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “Carrie: The Musical,” “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” “The Wiz,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Annie Get Your Gun,”  “Hairspray”, and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

He is a staffed musician at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Kalamazoo. Mt. Zion’s television program, “Growing God’s Kingdom According To His Word,” is broadcasted daily to 8.2 million homes, 27 times per week on various television networks.
